Therapists Trained in the UP

If you’re interested in getting treatment with the UP, you’ll need to find a therapist skilled at using this method. Every therapist listed below has received very close guidance from expert UP therapists on our team over the course of several months. Throughout this process, we make sure that each trained therapist is able to effectively provide treatment. Many of our certified therapists work in and around Boston, Massachusetts as the UP was developed here, but there are many trained therapists both nationally and internationally, and more are becoming certified every day. If you think you would benefit from the UP but not currently located near a UP-certified therapist, consider reaching out to us at hello@unifiedprotocol.com. Some therapists work via telehealth and can work in multiple states. We will try to connect you with a UP therapist. You can also consider working with a therapist trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and asking them to help you through the UP patient workbook. The UP treatment can be used by psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, counselors, or any other mental health professional who is familiar with CBT and is willing to work through treatment skills with you.
